Ingredients
- 4 slices Center Cut Turkey Bacon
- 1 White Onion, finely diced
- 1 Poblano or Bell Pepper, finely diced
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 pound Turkey Breakfast Sausage
- 1 packet Chili Seasoning
- 28 oz can Fire Roasted Crushed Tomatoes
- 3–4 cups Beef Broth
Instructions
- In a Dutch oven or soup pot over medium heat, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pot, sauté onion and pepper in the remaining grease for 2-3 minutes until softened. Add garlic and sauté for an additional 30-60 seconds.
- Add raw turkey sausage to the pot, breaking it apart as it cooks until browned.
- Stir in all remaining ingredients including chopped turkey bacon. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and let simmer for 45-60 minutes.
