Description

Garlic Balsamic Crusted Beef Tenderloin is a show-stopping dish that combines the rich flavors of garlic and balsamic vinegar to create a succulent and tender centerpiece for any meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 23 garlic cloves (finely minced or crushed)
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1 teaspoon coarse salt
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for marinade)
  • 1 beef tenderloin (about pounds)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for sauté)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Prepare the marinade by mixing garlic, balsamic vinegar, mustard, salt, pepper, and olive oil in a bowl. Rub over the beef tenderloin and marinate overnight if possible.
  2. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  3. Heat olive oil in a heavy sauté pan over medium-high heat. Brown the beef on all sides for about 4 minutes.
  4. Transfer the pan to the preheated oven and roast until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (approximately 20-30 minutes).
  5. Let the beef rest for about 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
