  • 1 lb (450 g) steak (sirloin, ribeye, or filet), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 300 g (10 oz) rigatoni pasta
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter (divided)
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced (divided)
  • 1 1/2 cups (360 ml) heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup (75 g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil and add the steak pieces. Sear for 2–3 minutes on each side until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium, melt 2 tablespoons of butter, add minced garlic, and cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant. Toss in the seared steak bites to coat in garlic butter.
  3. Stir in heavy cream into the skillet with remaining butter. Bring to a gentle simmer while stirring frequently for about 2–3 minutes. Add Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning; stir until melted. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook rigatoni according to package instructions; drain well. Add the rigatoni to the creamy sauce mixture and toss until evenly coated.
  5. Serve portions of creamy rigatoni topped with garlic butter steak bites and garnish with chopped parsley.
