Ingredients
- 1 to 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1/4 cup cooking sake (or rice apple vinegar)
- 1/2 tablespoon sesame oil
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce (for glaze)
- 1 tablespoon mirin
- 1 scallion (cut into strips)
- 3 dashes black pepper powder
- 2 inch ginger (peeled and coarsely diced)
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped

Instructions
- Clean and dry the chicken wings. In a mixing bowl, combine marinade ingredients and coat the wings. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (207°C). Prepare the glaze by combining all glaze ingredients in a saucepan over low heat until thickened.
- Place marinated wings on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes. Brush half the glaze on the wings and bake for another 10 minutes.
- Apply remaining glaze and bake for an additional 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown and slightly charred.
