  • 4 cups fresh spinach
  • ½ cup craisins
  • ⅓ cup pine nuts or cashews
  • 1 can (4 ounces) mandarin oranges
  • ⅓ cup teriyaki sauce
  • ⅓ cup rice apple vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ cup oil (vegetable, canola, or olive)

Instructions

  1. 1. Cook the bowtie pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and rinse under cold water.
  2. 2. In a jar, combine teriyaki sauce, rice apple vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, sugar, and oil. Shake well to mix.
  3. 3. In a large mixing bowl, toss together the cooked pasta, spinach leaves, craisins, nuts, mandarin oranges, and cilantro.
  4. 4. Pour the dressing over the salad just before serving and toss gently to coat.
