  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp Instant Yeast (1/2 package)
  • 2 tbsp Light Brown Sugar
  • 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Pumpkin Puree
  • 1 tbsp Unsalted Butter (melted)
  • 1 large Egg (lightly beaten)
  • 2 tbsp Light Brown Sugar (lightly packed)
  • 2 tbsp Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 tbsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Ginger
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp AllSpice
  • 1/8 tsp Ground Cloves
  • 3 tbsp Unsalted Butter (room temperature)
  • 2 tbsp Unsalted Butter (room temperature)
  • 2 tbsp Pure Maple Syrup
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2 tbsp Whole Milk
  • 2 cups Sifted Powdered Sugar
  • 1/8 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Water

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk and yeast; let sit until frothy.
  2. Mix in flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, pumpkin puree, melted butter, and beaten egg until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead on a floured surface for about 5 minutes; let rise in a greased bowl for 60 minutes.
  4. Prepare the filling by mixing sugars and spices in a small bowl.
  5. Roll out the risen dough into a rectangle; spread butter and sprinkle filling over it.
  6. Roll the dough tightly from one edge and cut into equal pieces; place in a greased baking dish and allow to rise for another 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake rolls for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
  8. While baking, prepare the frosting by beating together room temperature butter, powdered sugar, maple syrup, vanilla extract, milk, and salt until smooth.
