- ½ cup plain whole milk yogurt
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 6 garlic cloves (crushed)
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ¾ teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon oregano
- ½ teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together yogurt, lemon juice, olive oil, crushed garlic, tomato paste, paprika, cinnamon, oregano, ground ginger, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Add chicken chunks to the marinade and coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for best flavor.
- Preheat your grill to medium heat. Thread marinated chicken onto skewers (add onion wedges if desired).
- Grill skewers for 5–8 minutes on each side until fully cooked through and charred.
