- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×5-inch loaf pan by greasing or lining it with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in pumpkin puree and vanilla extract until thoroughly combined.
- Gradually mix in dry ingredients until just incorporated; avoid overmixing.
- For the topping, combine granulated sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
